Groups can choose from two class opportunities – “Love Local Food” or the “Local Eating Food Demonstration.” Classes are approximately one hour in length – shorter classes also available.
Love Local Food: Focuses on benefits of eating locally grown foods, using seasonal and local foods throughout the year, emphasizes relationships with farmers and local food sources, includes the research behind organics (are they really better or not) along with additional evidence-based nutrition guidance. Presented by a Registered and Licensed Dietitian.

o $5.00 per person for 10 or more participants

Local Eating Food Demonstration: Food demonstration classes focus on benefits of eating locally grown foods, cooking/preparation techniques, ideas for seasonal eating, preservation techniques. Food demonstrations also emphasize contacts with farmers and local food sources. May also include topics from “Love Local Food” classes per group request. Presented by a Registered Dietitian and a Chef.
• Food Demonstration Class Fee
o $10.00 per person, minimum of 10 participants plus the cost of ingredients
o Mileage fee for education outside of the city of Wichita ($0.45 per mile).
